My name is John Panico.  I am a former Senior Director of a Fortune 500 company that provides software and services. I worked on huge global projects and just got worn out from the hours and the stress.

I was starting my day at 5 AM to take calls from Europe, work the rest of the day US time and having calls at 10 at night to work with my India team.

Don’t get me wrong. I made great money.  But life is about more than money. I thought about it for over a year and was having regular discussions with my wife (she is a saint by the way) and we decided with my skills, we would leave that world.

I had done a variety of other businesses both off-line and online.  But anything I made there was play money.  Now, it was going to have to pay the bills.

During my work overseeing software implementations, I became really good at a couple of different skills that have turned out to be my super powers.

• Processes – Processes are nothing more than repeatable systems to start, build, scale and moentize your Virtual Assistant or Coaching business. You can’t successfully pull off implementations costing tens of millions of dollars without ensuring that you need to have standardized processes in place or you are going to be in a world of trouble.
• Effective communications – It may not be clear to you at the moment that we are always messaging our brand…whether it is your personal brand or that of your company. If you can’t articulate the point you are trying to get across in your business, it is going to be an uphill battle.  After some trial and error, I got really good at making highly effective presentations and messages that connected to my customers as well as my teams.

Lastly, I have always believed in the “paying it forward” concept.  One of my funnest and most fulfilling times was when I was managing the “Associates/Juniors”.  You could see how your guidance/experience as well as your faith in them became total joy as they progressed in their careers.  Especially, when they came back years later and thanked me for providing them the opportunity to show who they really were.

I believe that we have all benefited from someone along the way that has helped us in some way, shape or form.  And I thank all of my “mentors” for their assistance in getting me to here.
